Set with oval sapphires alternating with square-cut diamonds set in a Maltese cross motif, length approximately 385mm.

Accompanied by AGL report no. 1084179, stating that the oval sapphires measuring from approximately 7.82 x 7.14 x 4.20mm to 7.31 x 5.93 x 4.80mm, are of Burmese origin, with no indication of heating. Stamped 585 for 14 carat gold. Sapphires well matched in colour, blue of medium strong saturation, some inclusions surface reaching, minor abrasions, some with chips to the girdle. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.20 - 3.50 carats, on average G-H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded within the limitations of the mount. Minor evidence of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Clasp secure, safety catch. Gross weight approximately 78 grams.
