Description

Claw-set with a step-cut emerald weighing 12.11 carats, within triangular-cut diamond shoulders, size 481/2, Italian maker's mark.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no 53491, dated 28 March 2009, stating that the step-cut emerald, measuring approximately 14.90 x 14.80 x 8.80mm, is of Colombian origin, with a moderate amount of oil in fissures. Italian maker's mark. Stamped Pt 950 for platinum and OR 750 for 18 carats gold. Emerald green of medium strong saturation with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.50 - 3.00 carats, on average I-J colour, SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Scratches to the metal consistent with light use. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 10 grams.
