The curb link necklace, set at the center with a cabochon sapphire, supporting a carved lapis lazuli plaque depicting Hercules framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 380mm, signed Bulgari, numbered, maker's mark, inscribed Hercules, 16th cent., Italian.

Condition

Plaque and chain signed BVLGARI, N.Y., plaque numbered C408, chain numbered B741, maker's mark for Bulgari, and stamped 18K for 18 carat gold. Inscribed Hercules, 16th cent. Italian. Cabochon sapphire with typical inclusions. Carved lapis lazuli overall in very good condition, with typical pyrite inclusions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.30 - 2.60 carats, on average H-I colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Metal with signs of wear and tarnish. Clasp secure with safety catch below. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 119 grams.
