Description

Set with an oval sapphire weighing 11.73 carats, flanked by demi-lune diamond shoulders, the prongs and mount highlighted by brilliant-cut diamonds, size 51.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 101748 and Gübelin report no. 17025018, each stating that the cushion-shaped sapphire, weighing 11.73 carats, measuring 14.86 x 10.49 x 8.00mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Stamped Pt 950 for platinum. Sapphire blue of strong saturation, with typical visible under 10x magnification, some minor nicks and abrasion to facet edges and on table. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.50 - 3.00 carats, on average H-I colour, SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Minor evidence of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 10 grams.
