Description

The rectangular links millegrain-set with single-cut diamonds, alternating with circular-cut diamonds, each supporting a button shaped natural pearl measuring 13.71 x 14.55 x 11.17mm and 13.47 x 14.41 x 10.98mm respectively, post and hinged back fitting, French import marks for gold and platinum, one small diamond deficient.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 72926, and Gübelin report no. 15040005, each stating that the button-shaped pearls, measuring 13.71 x 14.55 x 11.17mm and 13.47 x 14.41 x 10.98mm, weighing 16.69 and 15.90 carats respectively, were found to be natural, saltwater. French import marks for platinum and 18 carat gold. Pearls of white body colour, with slight rosé overtones, good lustre, minor surface blemishes. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.00 - 2.50 carats, on average G-H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Minor evidence of wear to the metal. In good condition. One small diamond deficient. Total gross weight approximately 17 grams.
