Description

Of blackamoor design, the head composed of carved tortoiseshell, embellished with polished coral, sapphires and circular-cut diamonds, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Signed Cartier Paris, numbered 019421, French maker's mark for Cartier, and assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum. Coral overall in good condition. Sapphires well matched in colour, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor abrasions. Tortoiseshell with minor scratches. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.90 - 2.20 carats, bright and lively. Minor evidence of wear to the metal. in very good condition. Measuring approximately 62 x 37 x 15mm.
