Description

  • Emerald, diamond, gold
Set at the center with a radiant-cut diamond weighing 5.45 carats, supporting a detachable pendant set with a carved emerald framed with brilliant-cut diamonds further enhanced with variously cut near colourless diamonds and diamonds of yellow tint, length approximately 440mm.

Condition

Please note diamonds of yellow tint have not been tested for natural origin. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 80950, stating that the emerald weighing approximately 55 carats, measuring approximately 11.30 - 15.50 x 37.90mm, is of Afghan origin, with moderate amount of oil in fissures. French assay marks and stamped OR750 for 18 carat gold, inscribed EG56.83, B3.94, B5.02, E1.34, B28.59, B5.54 for total stated weights of diamonds and emeralds. Emerald stated to weigh 56.83 carats, green of medium strong saturation with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor nicks, chips and abrasions. The radiant-cut diamond weighing 5.45 carats, measuring approximately 10.71 x 9.95 x 5.83mm, is in our experts' opinion I-J colour, SI1 clarity. Diamonds of yellow tint estimated weigh a total of approximately 3.30 - 3.60 carats. Remaining near colourless diamonds estimated to weigh a total of apporcimately 28.00 - 30.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Scratches to the metal consistent with light use. Pendant in two places detachable. Clasp secure, safety catch below. Total gross weight approximately 74 grams.
