Sapphire, yellow sapphire and diamond necklace, Marchak

The front set with cushion-shaped yellow sapphires, circular-cut and oval sapphires, accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, the sides composed of a double herringbone gold strap, inner circumference approximately 330mm, signed Marchak, French assay marks for gold and platinum, maker's mark. 

Signed Marchak Paris, French maker's mark. French assay marks and stamped Pt950 and OR750 for platinum and 18 carat gold. Yellow sapphires measuring from 14.86 x 12.06 x 8.47mm to 8.11 x 7.40 x 4.74mmm well matched in colour, some with typical inclusions. Sapphires well matched in colour, with typical inclusions, overall in good condition. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.50 - 4.00 carats, on average G-H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Minor evidence of wear to the metal. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 165 grams
