Description
Each designed as a stylized buckle embellished with invisibly-set sapphires, enhanced by brilliant- and single-cut diamonds, the honeycomb patterned arch highlighted with circular-cut sapphire details, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered 49960 and 49961, with French assay mark for gold and maker's mark. Sapphires estimated to weigh approximately 9.50-10 carats in total are medium dark blue colour of very good saturation. Under 10x magnification there are typical inclusions. Diamonds are bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to metal and scratches consistent with use. Overall in very good condition.
