Description

Comprising: a bracelet of brick-link design, embellished with a floral clasp set with circular-cut rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, length adjustable from approximately 180 to 150mm; a gold ring, size 5¼; a ring set with brilliant-cut diamonds and circular-cut yellow sapphires, size 5¼; and a ring set with diamonds of near colourless and yellow tint, size 5½; all mounted in 18 karat yellow gold, all signed VCA, numbered, rings with French assay and maker's marks, four cases stamped Van Cleef & Arpels.

Condition

Bracelet: inscribed VCA and numbered NY54669. Rubies are medium purplish red of strong saturation, typical inclusions, some surface reaching and abrasions when inspected under 10x magnification. Diamonds are bright and lively. Minor tarnish on gold consistent with age. The diamond ring signed VCA, numbered B5692A4, inscribed 18KT for 18 karat yellow gold and D,0,49 referring to the weight of diamonds. Diamonds are bright and lively. Diamonds of yellow tint not tested for colour origin. The yellow sapphire and diamond ring signed VCA, numbered 5535 I21, inscribed 18kt and French assay mark for 18 karat yellow gold, S2,79 referring to the weight of yellow sapphires and D0,46 referring to the weight of diamonds. The gold ring signed VCA, numbered 5769 R16, inscribed 18KT, 750 and French assay mark for 18K yellow gold. Minor signs of wear consistent with age, overall in very good condition.
