Suspending an openwork pendant set with a cushion-shaped yellow sapphire, surrounded with cushion-shaped purplish pink sapphires and rose diamonds, to the similarly set necklace, mounted in 18 karat white, yellow and pink gold, length approximately 410mm, signed Buccellati, pendant detachable and can be worn as a brooch, case stamped Mario Buccellati.
Condition
Inscribed 750 for 18 karat white, yellow and pink gold. Signed Buccellati. Main yellow sapphire estimated to weigh approximately 8.5 - 9.5cts of medium light yellow colour in medium light saturation, eye clean, with very minor chips and blemishes when inspected under 10x magnification, but hardly noticeable when worn. Other sapphires estimated to weigh approximately 17 - 19cts in total are medium purplish pink or medium light yellow colour, in medium to medium light saturation, with typical inclusions, minor chips and abrasion only when inspected under 10x magnification. Evenly tarnished in the front, signs of wear on metal in consistent with use, overall in good condition. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 4 - 5cts are bright and lively as gauged and graded in the mount.
