  • Fancy Blue Diamond, Diamond, Platinum, Gold
Set with a step-cut fancy blue diamond weighing 14.18 carats, within a surround of brilliant-cut diamonds of pink tint, the mount decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum and 18 karat pink gold, size 6.

Condition

Accompanied by GIA report numbered 6183520528, dated 21 November 2017, stating that the diamond is Fancy Blue, Natural Colour, VVS2 Clarity; further accompanied by diamond type classification report stating that the diamond is determined to be a Type IIb diamond. Type IIb diamonds are very rare in nature and contain small amounts of boron that can give rise to a blue or gray coloration. Please refer to report for further details. Please note that the Fancy Blue diamond is less saturated than illustrated. Inscribed PT950 and 750 for platinum and 18 karat pink gold. Diamonds of pink tint are of intense saturation. Diamonds of near colourless tint are bright and lively. Minor signs of wear on metal, overall in very good condition. Please note that diamonds of pink tint have not been tested for natural colour origin.
