Description

  • Beads approximately 8.23 to 7.39mm.
The double strand necklace composed of one hundred and one slightly graduated intense green jadeite beads of high to very good translucency, suffused with specks of dark green, to a pierced diamond-set clasp, mounted in 18 karat white gold, length of inner strand approximately 430mm.

Condition

Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificate numbered KJ 97639(1-2), dated 6 February 2018, stating that the jadeite tested are natural, known in the trade as "A Jade". Please refer to the certificate for further details. Stamped 18K750 for 18 karat white gold. Jadeite beads are well-matched, of high to very good translucency and intense green colour, suffused with intense emerald green streaks and specks. Upon strong illumination, there are clouds and internal fissures with some surface reaching, some dark flakes, some beads with pyrite specks, but majority are not noticeable under normal lighting. Diamonds are bright and lively, estimated to weigh approximately 0.25 carat as gauged in the mounting. Metal with very little signs of wear, overall in very good condition.
