- Jadeite, Diamond, Gold
- Ring cabochon approximately 19.50 x 15.32 x 10.55mm, earrings cabochons approximately 18.83 x 15.32 x 9.76mm and 18.60 x 15.22 x 8.83mm.
Comprising: a ring set with an oval jadeite double cabochon of brilliant emerald green colour and very good translucency, within a pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the diamond set shoulders, size 6; and a pair of earrings en suite; all mounted in 18 karat white gold, post and butterfly fittings.
Condition
Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificates stating that the jadeite tested are natural, known in the trade as "A Jade". Please refer to the certificates for further details. Ring : mount stamped 750 for 18 karat white gold, D0.96 and 0.80 referring to the weight of the diamonds. Earrings : mounts tested as white gold, butterfly backing stamped 750, D1.30 and D1.04. Jadeite cabochons of even brilliant emerald green colour and very good translucency. Under strong illumination, there are some clouds and occasional tiny black specks commonly seen in the natural jadeite, one cabochon with a few minor internal fissures, one cabochon with a few lightly surface reaching internal fissures; but all are not noticeable under normal lighting. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 4.00 carats in total, are on average F to H colour, mainly VVS to VS clarity, as graded and gauged in the mounting. Metal in as new condition.
