Description

  • Ruby, Diamond, White Gold
Each suspending a pear-shaped ruby weighing approximately 10.12 and 10.07 carats respectively, framed and surmounted by pear- and marquise-shaped diamonds, post and butterfly fittings.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report numbered 97005, dated 20 November 2017 and Gübelin report numbered 18011052/ 1 and 2, dated 22 January 2018, each stating that the rubies are both of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, one with minor amount of oil in fissures at the time of testing. Please refer to reports for further details. Metal tested as white gold. Rubies estimated to weigh approximately 20-22cts in total, are medium dark red of very good saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching when examined under 10x magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 5.5 - 6cts in total are on average F - G colour, mostly VS clarity as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of minor wear to metal consistent of use. Overall in very good condition.
