Description

  • Jadeite, Diamond, Ruby, Gold
  • Pendant jadeite approximately 25.38 x 20.10 x 5.95mm; Earrings jadeite approximately 24.23 x 13.18 x 5.16mm and 23.60 x 13.68 x 5.10mm.
Comprising: a pendant, set with a pear-shaped bright green jadeite cabochon of good translucency, surrounded with calibré-cut rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds; and a pair of earrings of similar design, each set with pear-shaped jadeite cabochon of matching material; all mounted in 18 karat pink gold, collapsible post and hinged back fittings.

Condition

Accompanied by two Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificates numbered KJ 97561 and KJ 97562, both dated 26 January 2018, stating that the jadeite tested are natural, known in the trade as "A Jade". Please refer to certificates for further details. Metals stamped 750 for 18 karat pink gold. Jadeite are well-matched, each of bright green colour and good translucency. Under strong illumination, there are some clouds, some internal fissures and a few are surface reaching, a few minute hairline scratches, but all are hardly noticeable under normal lighting. Rubies estimated to weigh approximately 27.00 carats in total, of purplish red and medium to medium strong saturation, majority are eye-clean, some with minor typical inclusions, some with nicks, but all not visible under naked eye. Diamonds are bright and lively, estimated to weigh approximately 1.40 carats in total as gauged in the mounting. Signs of minor wear to the metal, with evidence of minor discolouration. Overall in very good condition.
