Composed of one hundred and eight brown glass beads divided by four green glass fotou ('Buddha head'), the fotou at the back connected to a gourd-shaped fotouta ('Buddha head stupa'), supporting a silk cord tassel intersected by a flattened oval green glass pendant, terminating to a drop-shaped purple glass with filigree cap, enhanced by three jinnian ('reminder') strands each suspending a drop-shaped glass, length approximately 1450mm.

All the glass beads with surface blemishes from molding process; the drop-shaped green and purple glass beads with a few tiny chips. The drop-shaped purple and white beads may possibly be later-added. Metals and straps show signs of discolouration and normal wear commensurate with age, Overall in fair condition.
