Set with a cushion-shaped ruby weighing 4.05 carats, between two half-moon step-cut diamonds weighing 0.66 carat each, embellished with brilliant-cut diamonds, size 5¾.

Condition

Accompanied by Gübelin report numbered 18011126, dated 22 February 2018, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Further accompanied by two GIA dossiers numbered 7272181651, dated 11 October 2017 and numbered 6271181618, dated 12 October 2017, stating that the diamonds each weighing 0.66 carats, are E and G Colour respectively, both SI1 Clarity. Please refer to the reports for further details. Stamped Pt950 for platinum, 4.055 referring to the ruby weight, D 0.68, 0.71 and 0.61 referring to the diamond weights. Ruby is medium pinkish red of strong saturation, with typical inclusions, abrasions, minor chips and a cavity on the pavilion when examined under 10X magnification and hardly noticeable with unaided eye. Diamonds, weighing approximately 1.80 to 2.20cts in total are bright and lively. Minor signs of wear to metal. Overall in very good condition.
