Condition

There is old, historic damage to the disc at the top of the form, including but not limited to a fine hairline which is visible to the naked eye. There is further old restoration visible to the naked eye and also under ultraviolet light, but a clear reading under ultraviolet light is difficult owing to the nature of the artist's glazes and materials. This restoration is not immediately visible to the naked eye and does not appear to extend into the main body of the piece. Inspected under ultraviolet light.
