Catalogue Note

The present model was originally designed by Ernö Goldfinger for his home at 2 Willow Road in Hampstead, London. The original examples, painted grey with red seats never went into production and remain in the home today. The present lot, produced in a limited run, was executed around the time the National Trust took over the house in 1995.
