Exhibited

London, The Fine Art Society, Bryan Ingham, 2006, cat. no.8.

Condition

Unexamined out of frame. The board appears to be fully laid down to its support. There are a number of minor flecks of paint loss to the extreme edges. At the lower edge, the brocaded collage element appears to be slightly lifting. There may be one loss at the tip of a triangle to a newspaper collage element in the lower third. There are one or two minor instances of studio matter. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is float mounted and held behind glass in a painted wooden frame.
