Condition

The board appears to be sound. There are a few flecks of flaking paint to an area above the centre of the lower edge and there may have been a small historic loss. There is some light studio matter and surface dirt in places. This excepting the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is float mounted within a simple stained wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
