Condition

Overall in very good condition consistent with age and gentle use. The top surface of the seat with a few tightly grouped minor hairline cracks which measure approximately 1 1/2” (4 cm) appear stable and are not visually disruptive. The lacquered finish presents with a few minor scuffs concentrated to the rear right proper corner of the seat. The rear left proper corner of the backrest with a few scattered scuffs which are not visually disruptive. The underside of the black lacquered feet with some wear which reveals the white base below and is not visible when the chair is upright. A surreal and playful model with good provenance.
