Condition
Overall in very good condition consistent with age and gentle use. The wooden surfaces with minor scattered scuffs, scratches and marks concentrated to the bases of the legs of both the desk and chair. The proper top right drawer surface with faint circular water stains, not visually disruptive. The leather with minor spotting and discoloration as partially visible in the printed and online catalogs. The leather on the central drawer with rubbing and flaking concentrated to the lower proper left corner. The metal elements with scattered minor oxidation. The proper upper left and right side and front panel at the corners with areas of restoration and lifting to the veneer at the seam which could benefit from professional stabilization. The leather upholstery of the chair with rubbing, scuffing and staining throughout. The nailheads below the top of the leather on the top of the backrest are proud and visible below the surface but do not pierce the leather. The piping is loose in areas and exhibits rubbing to the front right proper corner. The metal sabots with minor oxidation.
