Condition
Overall in very good condition. The surfaces with light scratches and abrasions throughout consistent with age and gentle use. With some minor oxidation throughout concentrated mainly to the edges and the underside rim of the lid, not visually distracting. The interior with some surface soiling and minor discoloration, and with some areas of water staining and adhesive residue. The interior inscribed in pencil 16/846.

This cigarette case bears the monogram of Mäda Primavesi, whose family was a major shareholder of the Wiener Werkstätte from 1914, and was possibly executed for her.
