Condition

Overall in very good condition consistent with age and gentle handling. When viewed in person the vase presents with softer tones than illustrated in the catalogue. The rim with a minor chip to which measures approximately 1/8 x 1/4 in (3 mm x 6 mm) and a flea bite which is not visually disruptive. The underside of the central folds with a few minor hairline cracks which appear to be inherent in the production of the piece. The vase has been inspected under ultraviolet light and it appears that no visible restoration has been undertaken. A charming and dynamic form from with good provenance.
