Condition

Overall in very good condition. The wood surfaces appear to retain their original finish, with some occasional light surface scratches, abrasions and edge wear consistent with age and use. As expected, there are some vertical stress fractures to the leg posts (from the natural expansion and contraction of the wood), which appear to have been filled in the past with a putty composition. The leather top is in beautiful original condition, showing scattered surface stains, abrasions, scratches and a few small surface losses consistent with age and use. The leather trim along the perimeter sides of the table top with expected surface wear and minor surface losses along the edges. All of the brass tacks appear to be original. One brass tack is detached from the table but intact. A few of the tacks with a few shallow bruises and gentle wear. One brass tack with a white paint mark. A strong example of the model, displaying superb wood selection and color, and a beautiful patina to the original leather top.
