shallow rectangular, the flap-form cover enameled with a woodland scene of cupid restraining a stag, the surfaces with white chestnut sprays on trellis ground, the base with a basse-taille chestnut sprig on blue ground, borders of blue and white lines

sides with cloudiness to blue enamel lines, upper rim missing 3 small gold screws, some light surface scratches to enameled scene
