each jardinière painted with a songbird perched among wisteria and pink roses below the Dayazhai (Studio of Great Elegance) mark and oval tiandi yijia chun (heaven and earth enjoying spring as one), the bases of both jardinières and underdishes with a four-character yongqing changchun (eternal joy and everlasting spring) mark
Condition
Both jardinieres in overall good condition. Please note that one underdish is slightly taller and larger than the other and the enamels have fired to a darker color overall. The taller underdish with three enamel gaps on the underside, the largest of triangular shape extending from the rim measuring approx. 1/2 in by 5/8 in (1.3 by 1.6 cm) with a hairline at the same location approx. 5/8 in (1.6 cm), and the interior with some kiln grit. The other underdish with a small glaze gap to the upper surface.
