Description

  • diameter 14 1/4 in.; 36.2 cm
each with deep rounded sides rising from a tapered base to an everted rim, the exterior painted in various shades of cobalt with two pheasants perched on rockwork amidst peony blooms beneath a blossoming magnolia tree, a lotus pond at the opposite side, all between upright lappets below and ruyi-head border above, wood stands, 4 pieces

Condition

Both in overall good condition with traces of limescale to the interior, also with minor firing imperfections and wear to the surface. Please note that this lot includes a stand, frame or other component made from a type of Chinese hardwood, which, if exported, will require a CITES permit to leave the United States.
