Catalogue Note

Charlotte Dorrance Wright (1911-1977) was an heiress to the Campbell Soup Company fortune. She was an avid art collector and bequeathed an important group of Impressionist paintings to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. After her death her Main Line estate Ravenscliff was sold and subdivided into lots.
