In good condition. Scattered losses and rubbing to gilding, mainly on the legs and feet. Some age cracks and shrinkage at crest rail joints, but chairs are stable. Rails with scattered age cracks and some old worm holes. Tapestry covers are associated but 18th century, with some wear and fading, mainly on seats and armrests, but still in reasonable condition with good colour; catalogue photograph is accurate .
