the straight sides painted to the exterior in bright cobalt with three ruyi-form cartouches enclosing scrolling chrysanthemum in reserve, twisting vines linking each cartouche and painted petals rising from the foot below, the interior and base undecorated, later-added gilt-metal rim mounts at the rim and foot, wood stands, 4 pieces

Condition

Both with rim ground down to accommodate for rim mounts. With minor firing imperfections to the interior and base. One with a star crack extending the length of one side, one with a firing line from the rim. Minor dents and losses and rubbing to gilding to the mounts. Both lacking covers.
