Description

  • Height 9 3/4  in., 24.8 cm
of globular form rising to a tall cylindrical neck with a lipped rim, brightly enameled allover with stylized floral medallions borne on leafing scrolls, the shoulder with a band of alternating flowerheads on an aubergine ground, the rim with  a band of florets on a leiwen-ground band, the base with a 'G' mark in underglaze-blue, coll. no. 134.

The vase is in overall good condition, there is a minute chip to the foot rim.
