Set to the centre with an cut-cornered rectangular amethyst within a polychrome enamel and cushion-shaped diamond surround.
Condition
Amethyst measures approximately 15.30 x 12.59 x 7.35mm, calculated to weigh approximately 7.50 carats. Amethyst mid-purple, transparent, some colour zoning and scratches to the facets. Diamonds bright and lively. Brooch fitting closes securely, pin with some play. Some surface scratches to metal and enamel commensurate with age and wear, but overall good condition. Dimensions approximately 30 x 27mm. Gross weight approximately 17.6 grams. Accompanied by case stamped Henn's Dudley & Bridgnorth.
