Description

One brooch designed as a dragonfly with enamel wings set with cabochon rubies,  eyes in red enamel, body accented with single-cut diamonds, gross weight approximately 20 grams, two designed as butterflies: one brooch with enamel wings set with circular-cut diamonds, cabochon sapphires and rubies, gross weight approximately 15 grams, the other brooch set with real butterfly wings covered in glass within circular-cut diamond, gross weight approximately 15 grams.

Condition

Each brooch has normal signs of wear to the metal, scratches and indentations consistent with age and wear. In good condition. Butterfly brooch with real butterly wings, stamped 'Breveté dans tous les pays'; one diamond missing on one antenna. Butterfly brooch: dutch assay mark 750 for 18 carat gold, french import marks.
