Description

the heavy russet iron plate okitenugui kabuto with rounded zaboshi, riveted eyebrows, the mabisashi [peak] and fukigaeshi [turnbacks] with stencilled leather and gilt engraved fukurin, applied gilt karashishi and peony to mabisashi, six-tier itazane shikoro [neckguard], mitsudomoe mon to fukigaeshi

Condition

There is some surface rust to the iron bowl, and a small area of pitting to the top right hand lobe. There is some old wear to the stencilled leather especially on the turnbacks. The lacquer to the shikoro has some small areas of repair and some minor chips. Please note all armours by the nature of their use and age have some old wear overall.
