Description

the kawari kabuto in sabi-nuri lacquered steel of Tokanmuri shape, the shape represents a Chinese court hat, the maedate of wood decorated in gold lacquer, a sabi-nuri lacquered mask, Haruta school, consisting of two parts assembled by pins, the cuirass is of tachi-do in black lacquered iron hon-kozane, the watagami are fitted with black lacquered iron gyoyo, the shikoro, the yodarekake, the sode, the kusazuri are in black lacquered iron kittsuke-zane, with two armour boxes

Condition

Overall this armour is in fine condition. There is some minor wear and a few small cracks and chips to the lacquer. Please note all armours by the nature of their use and age have some old wear overall. The armour box has old wear and damage consistent with the age and use of the object.
