Description

a russet iron plate, zunari kabuto, with zaboshi and applied hanabishi, the mabisashi [peak] with embossed wrinkles and eyebrows, five tier itazane shikoro [neckguard] with dark blue sugake-odoshi lacing, the fukigaeshi [turnbacks] with applied silver yotsu meyi mon

Condition

Overall this helmet is in fine condition. The shikiro has slight chips to the edges of the lacquer, and there is some damage to the black lacquer in the underside of the peak. There are a number of lacquer losses to the underside of the shikiro. Please note all armours by the nature of their use and age have some old wear overall.
