  • 28 cm. 11 in.
the rectangular box with rounded corners, flush fitting cover and silver rims, decorated in gold black and silver hiramaki-e, takamaki-e hirame, kinpun gold foil and nashiji with an all over design of Uji Bridge, the bridge beside willow trees, jakago and a waterwheel in the swirling waters beneath, nashiji interiors 

Condition

Some slight surface wear to the nishigi on the base, otherwise in good condition.
