Description

the whole armour made of hardened leather apart from the neck guard which is of iron, the sujibachi kabuto in simulated russet iron with gilt kuwagata, with white hair, maedate of feathers, facemask with yodase-kake, the shikoro with peacock feathers, the fukigaeshi with myoga mon, the cuirass, sode, kusazuri and haidate all of red-lacquered kittsuke-zane laced in kebiki-odoshi with blue braid, the haidate edged with fur, bishamon gote the tekko with gilt myoga mon, shino sune-ate, with armour box

Condition

Overall this suit of armour is in nice condition. There is some wear to the lacing and some chips and cracks to the lacquer. There are some lacquer losses to the face mask. Please note all armours by the nature of their use and age have some old wear overall. The armour box has old wear and damage consistent with the age and use of the object.
