the ovoid lower bulb and tapering upper bulb covered overall with a rich peacock-blue glaze suffused with a network of fine crackle and extending to the interior of the mouth, pooling at the waist and above the foot, with black glaze applied to the rim and the countersunk base left unglazed

Condition

In overall good condition with slight kiln adhesion during the firing visible on the base and a hairline crack running through the base and up the sides of the foot about 4 cm. Two labels adhered to the base and two red pen inventory markings as well.
