  • Rosewood, stone
  • Height including stand 14 3/4  in., 37.5 cm
of vertical orientation with two prominent limbs seeming to twist at counterpoint angles from the base, the dark gray resonant stone with numerous grooves and troughs terminating in round perforations, raised on a fitted wood base carved as cresting waves (2)

Condition

The rock in overall good condition, with natural weathering from the elements, and with one repaired corner. The stand in overall good condition with minor wear. Please note that this lot includes a stand, frame or other component made from a type of Chinese hardwood, which, if exported, will require a CITES permit to leave the United States.
