the wide, compressed globular body rising from a splayed foot to a flared rim, painted in bright shades of blue with two outlined panels to either side, one with dahlias blossoming from rockwork, the other with a similar composition of peonies, divided by floral motifs all within double line borders at the mouth and foot, the base with an underglaze-blue double circle

Condition

In overall good condition with firing imperfections including two large burst glaze bubbles or polished kiln grit adhesion on opposite sides of the exterior revealing a small cavity with gritty clay layer beneath the glaze.
