Condition
The canvas is not lined. Inspection under UV light reveals an opaque varnish which prevents the light from fully penetrating, however there are no signs of retouching . There is some fluorescence under UV which appears to relate to the uneven varnish. There are a few scattered pigment losses in the lower right quadrant, most notably one to the centre of the vase measuring approx. 2 by 2mm. There are some fine lines of craquelure predominantly to the lower right quadrant and the canvas is undulating. Overall this work is in good condition.
