Condition

The canvas is lined. Examination under UV light shows some small flecks of retouching to the green pigment in the upper left quadrant and to the white pigment at the upper centre of the composition, and some further areas of retouching at the extremity of all four edges. There is a tiny irregularity to the canvas surface towards the centre of the upper edge and there are some very fine lines of craquelure visible in places, primarily to the central nude figure. This work is in overall good condition.
