Condition
The board is sound. The varnish is slightly discoloured. There are three small dents along the upper edge with very minor associated cracks. UV light examination reveals a few small areas of fluorescence in the sky, along the right edge and towards the centre of the board. Pigment testing has revealed these to be from a later date, though it is unclear if these are from the artist or another hand. Otherwise, this work is in overall very good condition.
