Condition

The canvas is unlined. The pigments are fresh and the colors present nicely. There is some frame abrasion to the left and upper edges. An abrasion to the canvas at upper right corner. Some pigment shrinkage throughout, most notably to the pink pigment in the background and the black of the figure's hair. Under UV light: scattered strokes of inpainting along the edges to address aforementioned frame abrasion. A larger approximately three inch line of inpainting to the upper left corner. Some strokes in the figure's face and clothing. This work is in overall good condition.
