Condition
The canvas is unlined. The impasto is well-preserved overall. The medium is bright and fresh. There are a few pinholes to the canvas at upper left and upper right corners. Some extremely minor and stable areas of pigment shrinkage in the the sky at upper right, in the tree at left-center and within the lower register. This shrinkage does not deter from the overall appearance of the work. Under UV inspection, there are strokes of inpainting to the sky in the upper right corner with smaller strokes of inpainting along all four edges to address previous frame abrasion. The work is in good condition.
