Condition
This work is in perfect condition. The plywood on which it is painted is flat. The heavily textured paint layer is stable and clean. The paint in the buildings in the landscape is glossy, but the sky remains unvarnished, suggesting that the gloss to the paint layer is original. There are no retouches. The work should be hung as is. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.)
